It sounds as if you're excited too if you got up at 4.30 this morning!

The FBA tutorial I've found makes the most sense is Megan Nielsens, here: http://blog.megannielsen.com/2012/04/how-to-do-a-full-bust-adjustment-fba/Sam https://www.blogger.com/profile/12854866475645268162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4515200276404197969.post-81846019888604071622013-01-02T04:49:43.645+00:002013-01-02T04:49:43.645+00:00Thank you for the tip, I'll add it to my arsen...Thank you for the tip, I'll add it to my arsenal of tools to tackle this issue. I've been reading 'Fit for Real People' and that makes it clear that the high bust measurement is key too. Frankly I'm prepared to give anything a go :)Jacq Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04720788276272548617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4515200276404197969.post-90525420080873938842013-01-02T04:46:25.196+00:002013-01-02T04:46:25.196+00:00Honestly, I am ridiculosly excited to get my head ...Honestly, I am ridiculosly excited to get my head down and crack on with this cape. You might be able to get the book from the library and try it out. It's based on the measurement from the edge of your underarm across the front to the other edge, basically another version of a high bust measurement. You then pivot at certain points of the pattern piece to fit your measurements. Basically you choose the pattern size for your frame or bone structure, and then adjust for your figure. I've heard some disparaging comments about it on various sewing blogs, but I've had great success in making dresses with it, particularly for a friend of mine who can never find dresses to fit her. Hope this helps!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4515200276404197969.post-5018753799749927572013-01-02T00:43:28.353+00:002013-01-02T00:43:28.353+00:00Best of luck with your cape construction!
